Eurowings Plans Direct Flights To Morocco From More European Cities

The German airline will triple its Moroccan routes, spotlighting Marrakesh as a cultural gateway.

Expanded Routes To Marrakesh

Eurowings is increasing its direct flights to Marrakesh during the upcoming winter season, connecting five European cities: Hanover (October 29), Salzburg (November 4), Stuttgart (November 6), Prague (November 8), and Düsseldorf. Each new route will operate twice weekly, while Düsseldorf boosts its existing service to three weekly flights, totalling eleven Marrakesh connections per week.

Continued Service To Agadir And Fez

Agadir remains accessible with Eurowings flying up to two weekly flights from Düsseldorf and one from Stuttgart. The airline continues its twice-weekly service between Cologne/Bonn and Fez, maintaining links to Morocco’s historic and artistic heartlands.

Morocco’s All-Season Appeal

Michael Händel, Vice President of Network Management at Eurowings, highlights Morocco’s year-round charm: “From surfing on the Atlantic coast to shopping in an oriental souk or hiking in the Sahara desert – the North African kingdom is diverse, can be reached in around four hours and offers pleasant travelling temperatures even in winter.”

Strategic Growth For Leisure Travel

With 16 weekly flights across three cities, Eurowings’ winter schedule positions Morocco as a top-tier escape. The Moroccan National Tourist Office welcomes the expansion, citing the country’s rich blend of heritage, cuisine, and natural beauty as key draws for German travellers.
