Emirates To Offer More Premium Economy Seats On These Routes

Enhanced aircraft and cabin experiences to be introduced on services to and from Amman, Mumbai, Muscat, and Bahrain.

Strategic Fleet Deployment Improves Regional Connectivity

Emirates plans to enhance its regional network by deploying its newest Airbus A350s, along with retrofitted Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s, each equipped with the airline’s popular Premium Economy and updated Business Class cabins. This expansion will improve the travel experience for passengers flying to and from Amman, Mumbai, Muscat, and Bahrain, providing a more uniform and elevated onboard experience.

Effective October 26, 2025, Emirates will operate a four-class A380 on EK903/904 to Amman, while Mumbai will receive a retrofitted Boeing 777 on EK504/505, servicing 22 weekly flights. From October 30, Muscat will be served by the A350 on EK862/863 every Thursday and Saturday. Bahrain will welcome a retrofitted Boeing 777 on EK833/834 every Thursday from December 4 this year, making it an all-signature cabin destination.

Premium Economy Expansion Reflects Growing Demand

By winter 2025, Emirates plans to provide Premium Economy on over 635 weekly flights worldwide, connecting 68 cities, 36 of which will be served exclusively by aircraft with the upgraded cabin. The airline expects to deliver more than 2 million Premium Economy seats annually, up from 1.8 million today.

Industry-Leading Retrofit Programme Progresses Rapidly

Emirates’ retrofit program, one of the largest in commercial aviation, is progressing rapidly with 67 aircraft already upgraded. The goal is to upgrade 219 aircraft, including 110 A380s and 109 Boeing 777s. Additionally, Emirates now flies nine Airbus A350s to 15 destinations.
