This innovative service delivers fibre optic connectivity directly to each room, eliminating the limitations of traditional Wi-Fi networks and ensuring seamless, high-speed internet access throughout the entire home.
By bypassing the reliance on Ethernet cables, FTTR offers a more convenient and efficient solution for users. It is particularly beneficial for smart homes, gamers, and other tech-savvy individuals who demand consistent, high-performance internet connections.
e& UAE’s Chief Consumer Officer, Khaled ElKhouly, expressed enthusiasm for the new service, highlighting its potential to transform home connectivity. Chief Technology and Information Officer, Khalid Murshed, emphasized the role of high-speed connectivity in creating a digitally empowered future.
The FTTR service is available for a monthly rental fee of AED 129 (excluding VAT) on a 24-month contract. For larger homes, multiple FTTR units can be installed to ensure comprehensive coverage.
