Route Relaunch and Network Expansion
Cathay Pacific will restart direct flights between Hong Kong and Seattle from March 30, 2026, operating five return services every week. This marks the airline’s ninth passenger destination in North America and supports its broader strategy to grow regional connectivity. The route will be served by Airbus A350-900 aircraft, offering Business, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins.
Dallas-Fort Worth Service Goes Daily
To cater to the increase in demand, Cathay Pacific will operate more direct flights to Dallas-Fort Worth, up from four to seven weekly services starting October 26, 2025.

March 30 – May 31, 2026; September 16 – October 24, 2026
- CX852: Hong Kong (HKG) → Seattle (SEA); Departs 13:30; Arrives 10:10.
- CX853: Seattle (SEA) → Hong Kong (HKG); Departs 11:50; Arrives 16:45+1.
- Operation days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
June 1 – September 15, 2026
- CX852: Hong Kong (HKG) → Seattle (SEA); Departs 13:30; Arrives 10:35.
- CX853: Seattle (SEA) → Hong Kong (HKG); Departs 12:15; Arrives 16:45+1.
- Operation days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Customer Experience and Promotions
To celebrate the relaunch, promotional round-trip Economy fares start at HK$5,060 for bookings made between September 22 and October 31, 2025. Cathay Pacific says that the eligible travel dates are from March 30 to June 30, 2026.
Additional Enhancements
Cathay Pacific is upgrading cabins on select Vancouver flights and will open a flagship lounge at JFK Terminal 6 in 2026. The Seattle route also supports cargo operations, complementing Cathay Cargo’s freighter network.
