Azerbaijan Airlines has announced an increase in flight frequencies to five destinations starting next month. These are Antalya, Trabzon (both in Turkey), Astana (Kazakhstan), Milan (Italy), and Chisinau (Moldova).
Azerbaijan’s flag carrier will add four additional weekly flights on the Baku-Antalya-Baku route, making it a daily affair from May 1, 2025. Similarly, Azerbaijan Airlines’ flights to Trabzon will increase to five weekly, starting from May 12, 2025. On the same day, an extra service on the Baku-Astana-Baku route will be launched, bringing the weekly total to four flights.
The airline commenced six weekly flights to Milan in April 2025 as part of its summer schedule. However, starting May 13, 2025, an additional weekly flight will make this route a daily affair. Likewise, Azerbaijan Airlines has been operating five weekly services between its home hub, Baku, and Chisinau as of April 2025. One more weekly service will join the route early next month, followed by another on May 12, 2025, making the Moldovan capital accessible daily.
