Audi grandsphere concept makes its Middle East debut at the Museum of the Future

The luxury touring sedan marries first-class experience with level 4 autonomous capabilities

Audi Middle East’s strategic alliance with the Museum of the Future has resulted in the regional debuts of Audi’s sphere line of concept cars such as the Urbansphere concept being exhibited at the landmark museum. Now, another Audi concept car, titled the Audi grandsphere concept, will make its Middle East debut within the Museum of the Future.

Visitors to the Museum of the Future can explore the Audi grandsphere as part of the ‘Tomorrow, Today’ exhibition, running until February 2025. According to Audi, the grandsphere concept which spans over five metres in length is a luxury touring sedan that merges first-class onboard experience with Level 4 autonomous driving capabilities.

The Audi grandsphere’s front passenger seats transform into a spacious and immersive environment without a steering wheel, pedals or conventional displays. Passengers can relax, work, or enjoy entertainment with the vehicle’s digital ecosystem capable of managing restaurant and hotel reservations as well as parking and charging duties.

On the mechanical front, the grandsphere is built on the EV-dedicated Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture ensuring it carries 800-volt charging technology and a claimed range of more than 750 kilometres. The Audi grandsphere also boasts a total output of 530 kW (or 710hp) and 960 NM torques, achieving acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just over four seconds. The vehicle also gets air suspension and active chassis systems.
