Arnold & Son has unveiled the Nebula 40 Steel Blue Edition. It joins the Nebula Collection lineup and is identical to the Nebula 40 Steel Golden and Black Editions, which we wrote about in January.

Diameter: 31.10 mm. Thickness: 4.18 mm. Jewels: 24. Frequency: 3 Hz or 21,600 vph. Power reserve: 90 hours.
Movement finishing: Blue PVD treated mainplate with ‘Rayons de la Gloire’ guilloche. Blue PVD treated barrel covers. Bridges are palladium-treated, polished and chamfered, and feature satin-finished surfaces. Balance is rhodium plated. Wheels are circular-grained and chamfered. Chatons are made from 18K gold. Screws are chamfered and feature mirror-polished heads.

The Nebula 40 Steel Blue Edition is a sought-after colour version of this hours-minutes-small seconds watch. The price – though not exactly affordable – is fair for its unique design and haute horology elements. The Nebula 40 Steel Blue Edition makes a compelling case for a versatile or everyday watch, allowing its owner to appreciate the details of its symmetrical skeletonised movement, both through the open dial and caseback.
