Alfa Romeo Launches Two Limited Edition Models To Commemorate The First Mille Miglia Victory

Centro Stile division is introducing a unique Quadrifoglio design for these limited edition models

Alfa Romeo has announced the launch of the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Super Sport limited editions. These two exclusive models mark the beginning of a new era in the history of the Quadrifoglio logo, which was first introduced in 1923.

The Italian manufacturer will launch the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Super Sport in a limited number: 450 units, 275 Giulias, and 175 Stelvios worldwide.

After the RL achieved a top position in the first edition of the “most beautiful race in the world”, the 6C 1500 Super Sport (Mille Miglia Speciale) in 1928, driven by Giuseppe Campari and Giulio Ramponi, dominated the Mille Miglia, held from March 31 to April 1. This was the first of a series of 11 Mille Miglia victories for Alfa Romeo, a record that will be difficult to break.

Alfa Romeo’s Centro Stile department has created a new design for the Quadrifoglio logo to individualise the model range further and highlight its links with the racing world. For the first time in Quadrifoglio’s more than 100-year history, the triangle that traditionally surrounds the green four-leaf clover has a black background instead of white, a colour that gives even more boldness to the pioneering logo. Last year, on the centenary of the Quadrifoglio, the logo was decorated with a gold frame, and the inscription (1923-2023) refers to a century of passion for sport, high performance, and motor racing.

A strong sporty character characterises the exterior design of the two cars: in addition to the new Quadrifoglio logo with a black background, carbon fibre is used in large parts of the exterior, as well as the roof (optional for the Giulia only), the V-shaped front grille and the mirrors. There are also five-hole polished sports wheels, 19 inches for the Giulia and 21 inches for the Stelvio, with new black sport brake callipers. The models are available in three colours: Etna Red Tri-Layer, Vulcano Black Metallic, and Alfa White (Giulia only).

The limited models also use the new adaptive Full-LED Matrix headlights in a “3 + 3” design.
