Akasa Air Will Fly More Direct Services To Abu Dhabi

The Indian pocket-friendly carrier currently operates a service from Mumbai only.

Earlier this year, Akasa Air introduced a direct daily flight between Mumbai, India’s financial capital, and Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE. The pocket-friendly carrier has confirmed that starting March 1, 2025, it will link two more Indian cities with Abu Dhabi. Which ones? Bengaluru and Ahmedabad.

Both newly announced routes will operate daily. Flight QP 578 will depart from the capital of Karnataka at 10:00 and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 12:35. The return leg – QP 577 – will leave from the UAE’s capital at 03:00 the next day and reach Bengaluru at 08:45. Those who plan to travel to Abu Dhabi from Ahmedabad, can catch Akasa Air’s flight QP 580, which departs and lands at 22:45 and 01:00 the next day, respectively. The reverse connection – QP 579 – will fly out of Abu Dhabi at 14:50 and arrive in Ahmedabad at 19:25. All times mentioned are local.

Akasa Air launched operations just over two years ago. Since then, its fleet has grown to 25 jets, the network has expanded to 22 domestic and five international destinations, and the airline has launched its holiday packages. The carrier still has over 200 Boeing jets on order.
