Akasa Air Has Confirmed A New Domestic Destination

A daily service commences this October, with India’s financial capital at one end.

After announcing services to Phuket earlier this month, Akasa Air is back with yet another development on the same front. The airline has confirmed the name of its 24th domestic destination and 30th overall. On October 1, 2025, Akasa Air will launch daily direct flights to Kozhikode from Mumbai. The new route will complement the carrier’s existing connection to Kochi, further strengthening its presence in the state of Kerala.

Flight QP 1701 will depart from Mumbai at 17:35 and land in Kozhikode at 19:20. Those who want to travel in the opposite direction can board Akasa Air flight QP 1702, which will begin and conclude its journey at 19:55 and 21:40, respectively.

Akasa Air has grown its network to 30 destinations within 37 months of commencing operations. Its fleet, which grew to 29 aircraft earlier this year, comprises Boeing 737s exclusively. The new aeroplanes offer ample legroom and USB ports for passengers to keep their personal mobile devices charged.

The airline also has a few add-ons that the travellers can benefit from. The list includes Pets on Akasa, Akasa GetEarly, Extra Seat, Seat & Meal Deal, and Akasa Priority.
