airBaltic Has Extended Its Codeshare Partnership With British Airways

Latvia’s airBaltic has announced that it has extended its codeshare partnership with British Airways (BA), the UK’s flag carrier, effective September 19, 2024. Per the paperwork, the former will place code ‘BT’ on the Riga-London Heathrow-Riga flights, operated by BA, beginning October 1, 2024. On the other hand, the London-headquartered airline will continue injecting its code ‘BA’ on flights from Riga and Tallinn to London Gatwick, operated by the Latvian carrier.

The codeshare between the two airlines first went live ten years ago. As with the codeshare, passengers of both airlines will have more flexibility when travelling on services between Latvia, the United Kingdom, and beyond.
