airBaltic Announces New Routes And Increased Flights For Summer 2026

The airline has also planned to resume three routes from Riga.

More flights, More Choices

airBaltic plans to expand its network from late March through late October 2026. The airline will launch six new routes, revive three previously operated routes, and enhance service on nearly 30 existing routes. This expansion will improve travel options within Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania, and also increase airBaltic’s visibility and presence throughout Europe.

New Routes From Riga And Tallinn

From Riga, airBaltic will start flights to Kaunas (Lithuania), Oulu (Finland), and Antalya (Turkey). Antalya was previously only served by charter flights. From Tallinn, travellers can explore new routes to Athens (Greece), Hamburg (Germany), and Vienna (Austria).

Restarting Key Destinations

airBaltic will resume services for three destinations from Riga: Aberdeen (United Kingdom), Belgrade (Serbia), and Yerevan (Armenia). The table below sums up the details:

More Frequent Flights Across The Region

airBaltic will also increase the number of flights on 30 routes, with 20 departing from Riga, six from Vilnius, two from Tallinn, and one from Tampere. Additionally, there will be more flights to popular destinations such as Istanbul, Larnaca, Malaga, Malta, Milan, Nice, Palma de Mallorca, and Tbilisi.

Bigger Network For Summer 2026

Overall, airBaltic will serve nearly 110 routes in summer 2026, marking a 7 per cent growth over the previous year. The airline persists in linking the Baltics with destinations in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus.
