airBaltic Announces More Daily Flights To The Capital Of The Netherlands

Services from all three Baltic capitals will contribute to the count.

According to Martin Gauss, airBaltic’s President and CEO, increasing flight frequency to Amsterdam is a “strategically important step for the Baltic region.” Hence, the airline will do just that beginning March 30, 2025, the start of the summer season.

From that date, Latvia’s flag carrier will begin offering three daily services to the Netherlands’ capital from Riga. Similarly, it will operate two daily flights on the Tallinn-Amsterdam and Vilnius-Amsterdam routes. In total, seven airBaltic flights will land and depart daily from Amsterdam, originating from the three Baltic capitals. Tickets for the added flights are on sale.

The increase will allow more flexibility for airBaltic passengers to experience one of the most sought-after destinations in Europe. Moreover, Amsterdam is one of Europe’s largest hubs, providing access to onward destinations worldwide.

airBaltic, which recently welcomed its 50th Airbus A220-300, has one of the youngest fleets in Europe. It plans to double its fleet by the end of the decade, and Lufthansa Group’s purchase of a 10 percent stake will surely help boost and optimise operations.
