Air India Express Launches Six New Direct Flights
Of them, five are new to the carrier’s network.
In a bid to bolster its domestic operations, Air India Express launched six new nonstop flights serving the domestic market. All six round-trip services were launched on the same day. These are three from Chennai, two from Kolkata, and an exclusive link between Guwahati and Jaipur. Five of the six routes are new to the carrier.
The regional airline has connected the capital of Tamil Nadu with direct daily flights to Bhubaneshwar, Bagdogra and Thiruvananthapuram. With the additional daily flight to Thiruvananthapuram, Air India Express now operates nine weekly flights between the two cities.

From Kolkata, the airline has introduced daily services to Varanasi and Guwahati. This further reinforces West Bengal’s capital as Air India Express’ third largest station, with 124 weekly flights to 34 destinations. Similarly, the carrier connects the capital of Tamil Nadu with direct flights to 10 destinations and one-stop services to 24. Here’s the newly introduced list of flights:
