Air India Express Announces A New Route To Bangkok

Expanding its presence in Southeast Asia, Air India Express has confirmed that on October 18, 2025, it will launch nonstop flights to Bangkok from Bengaluru. The new route will operate daily, expanding options for travellers looking to spend their vacations in one of the most vibrant and visited cities in Asia.

Convenient Flight Timings and Pocket-Friendly Fares

Air India Express flight will depart from Bengaluru at 11:00 and will land in Bangkok at 16:45. The return service will leave Bangkok at 17:45 and arrive in Bengaluru at 20:30 (all times mentioned are local). As an introductory offer, the airline has announced Xpress Value fares starting at INR 16,800 for a round trip. One-way fares for the Bengaluru-Bangkok and Bangkok-Bengaluru sectors are INR 9,000 and INR 8,850, respectively.

Expanding Reach

Bengaluru is the largest domestic hub for Air India Express. The airline operates 440 weekly flights directly connecting to 30 domestic and four international destinations. The newly confirmed route to Bangkok from Bengaluru is the carrier’s fourth connection to the Thai capital. Air India Express already has active direct services to Bangkok from Lucknow, Pune, and Surat. These complement the Hyderabad-Phuket route to offer travellers more options. Earlier this year, the airline connected Bengaluru with Kathmandu.
