Air Canada To Resume Direct Flights Between Ottawa And London

Following its recent announcement of increasing flight operations from Ottawa, Air Canada has confirmed that it will resume nonstop services between the Canadian capital and London Heathrow. This direct service begins on March 31, 2025, with four weekly services planned on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. This route will remain active until October 25, 2025.

The Ottawa-London service will be offered on a three-class Boeing Dreamliner. The aircraft will feature the Air Canada Signature Class with lie-flat individual pods, a Premium Economy section with large seats and extra legroom, and an Economy class.

Canada’s flag carrier has also hinted at increasing frequencies on the abovementioned route and a year-round service. How those plans pan out depends on the awaited delivery of A321XLR jets. Expected to start joining the fleet late next year, the aircraft can help the carrier achieve its plans for the Ottawa-London route.
