Air Canada Confirms A New Route And More Flights To Europe

The increase in weekly frequencies applies to Paris, Athens, and Rome.

For the upcoming summer season, Air Canada has announced an increase in flight frequency to three major European destinations. Furthermore, a new route to Scotland has been confirmed, which will be served using a Boeing 737 MAX jet featuring Premium Economy and Economy cabin options.

Canada’s flag carrier already operates a direct flight to Edinburgh, Scotland, from Toronto. Complementing that service will be a new route to the Scottish capital from Montreal, operating three times weekly. Flight AC936, scheduled for Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays between June 26 and September 6, 2025, will depart from Montreal at 21:50 and arrive in Edinburgh at 09:20 the next day. The return leg, AC937, will operate on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays between June 27 and September 7, 2025. It will leave Edinburgh and land in Montreal at 11:10 and 13:30, respectively. All times mentioned are local.

The increase in flight frequencies is planned for Paris, Athens, and Rome until October 2025. Air Canada will operate three new flights from Toronto to the French capital on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The airline confirms up to 10 weekly services from Toronto and 14 from Montreal.

The airline will operate up to 10 weekly flights to Athens from Toronto and the same number from Montreal. That’s thanks to two new flights from Toronto, planned for Tuesdays and Fridays. As for the presence in Rome, Air Canada will strengthen it with up to four additional weekly frequencies. The airline will offer up to 12 weekly flights from Toronto and nine from Montreal.
