The Maserati Grecale Folgore has arrived at the showrooms of Al Tayer Motors, the official Maserati dealer in the UAE, and Premier Motors, the official dealer in Abu Dhabi. It is the Italian brand’s first fully electric SUV.
Designed, developed, and manufactured entirely in Italy, the Maserati Grecale Folgore is equipped with a 105 kWh battery powered by 400V technology. This battery generates up to 820 Nm of torque, ensuring a performance that matches the brand’s DNA. Thanks to the fully electric propulsion system, the car generates 550 bhp, reaching a top speed of 220 km/h.
At the front, the Grecale Folgore features an inverted grille modified for cooling, typical of electric vehicles. The Trofeo version inspires the front end of the new Folgore. On the outside, the model’s longevity gives it a modern and attractive appearance. Its aerodynamic design is comprehensive, achieving a competitive Cx target and a redesigned rear diffuser. The Grecale Folgore’s exterior features 19″, 20″, or 21″ inch aerodynamic wheels. The Folgore-specific front grille features gloss black inserts on a lightly anodised silk black base. The splitters, door handles, DLO, and side skirts are finished in gloss black. The badges and brake callipers are both in copper colours, while the side vents feature illumination.
The Grecale Folgore’s interior features the distinctive Folgore embossed pattern on the dashboard and distinctive 3D carbon copper interior accents, accentuated by ambient lighting. With innovative laser technology, the 14-way power ECONYL sports seats in black/brown offer heating/ventilation features; innovative regenerative weaving also distinguishes the headliner and carpets.
Regarding technology, the Grecale Folgore features digital interfaces specifically designed for the driver. The state-of-the-art touchscreen: the 12.3-inch central display (fully connected) and the 8.8-inch comfort display are ergonomically designed for easy control access.
The all-electric Folgore version of the Grecale has four different driving modes: Maximum Range, GT, Sport, and Off-Road. The drive mode selector on the polished black steering wheel, complete with perforated leather and a blue engine start button, allows you to adjust the car’s settings. Thus, the Grecale Folgore racing spirit is at your fingertips.
Grecale Folgore customers will receive a wall-mounted charging box that can be installed in their homes or at their favourite locations. The box provides charging power ranging from 3 to 22 kW, using load-balancing technology to ensure optimal system energy management efficiency.
Key features of the Maserati Grecale Folgore include automatic battery pre-conditioning to ensure the fastest and most efficient charging experience possible, maintaining cabin temperature even when the vehicle is not running, electric vehicle steering, and dynamic range mapping, which are updated in real-time based on the state of charge and the customer’s driving style.
