A New BBJ Has Joined RoyalJet’s Fleet

It’s a highly customisable aircraft that offers various layouts for the cabin.

Abu Dhabi-based RoyalJet, an operator of premium private jets, has welcomed its newest member – a highly customisable BBJ (Boeing Business Jet). Known simply as RJK, it can be configured based on client requirements.

The versatile design allows the aircraft to transition among four different layouts. It can feature a 90-seat Economy cabin, spacious and practical enough for large delegations. Another option is a 58-seat Business Class configuration. Royal Jet claims this choice will be perfect for business and leisure travel as it balances comfort and capacity. The third option is a 36-seat VVIP layout designed for those who seek the utmost privacy and luxury in the skies. Otherwise, one could hire the RJK as a cargo carrier to ferry large, heavy, expensive equipment or luggage.

In addition to a cargo door and reconfigurable interior, the RJK boasts Ka-band connectivity that offers the fastest in-flight internet. The jet also has FANS 1/A (Future Air Navigation System) for improved communications between the aircraft and Air Traffic Control using data link technology.

RoyalJet’s RJK also has a BBJ-certified flexible auxiliary tank configuration. This allows for varied aircraft ranges vs. cargo capacity. Up to 6 such tanks can be fitted within 24 hours upon request.
