The Hyundai Creta Lounge Editions are special variants of the Creta and Creta Electric introduced by Hyundai Motor India. The special edition adds premium styling elements, Lounge-specific interior elements and a new rear-seat entertainment system.
What features do both Lounge Editions have?
Both ICE Creta and Creta Electric Lounge Editions come equipped with an integrated 11.6-inch rear-seat entertainment system. Both models also feature Lounge-exclusive interiors with silver-coloured inserts, Moonwhite ambient lighting, a new Lounge seat design pattern and rear-seat headrest cushions with Lounge branding.
The exterior features the new Golden Bronze colour, black-painted front and rear skid plates, side-sill garnish, rear spoiler, roof rails, C-pillar garnish and ORVMs.
The only difference between the ICE Creta and Creta Electric, besides the obvious choice of powertrains, is that the Creta gets R18 matte-black alloy wheels, whereas the Creta Electric uses R17 black aero alloy wheels. The Electric Creta also offers a dashcam and rear wireless charger.
What does the rear-seat entertainment system offer?
The integrated 11.6-inch Rear Seat Entertainment System offers OTT content, video streaming, interactive gaming, access to a certified app store and phone mirroring. The system is connected to a Bose Premium Sound system, which includes eight speakers, a front central speaker and a subwoofer.
What are the powertrains and power figures of the two Lounge Editions?
The Hyundai Creta Lounge Edition is offered with two powertrain options. A 1.5-litre MPi naturally aspirated petrol engine produces approximately 115PS and 144 Nm, paired with an iVT automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine develops approximately 116PS and 250Nm and is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
The Hyundai Creta Electric Lounge Edition is based on the Excellence Long Range variant with the Home Charger option. It incorporates a 51.4kWh battery pack and a single permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor, producing a peak output of 126kW, or 171PS.
