Lamborghini has revealed the Revuelto Impavido, a Japan-exclusive limited edition inspired by Bushido, samurai armour and the craftsmanship of the katana. Created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Lamborghini Japan, production is limited to just 25 individually numbered cars.
Each combines the Revuelto’s 1,001hp plug-in hybrid V12 powertrain with a bespoke exterior livery, a specially commissioned interior and symbolism drawn from Japanese history. “Impavido” translates from Italian as “fearless” or “courageous”, neatly connecting Lamborghini’s famously theatrical character with Bushido’s values of courage, discipline and determination.
It doesn’t feature any mechanical changes, but when the starting point is a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12, three electric motors, all-wheel drive and a top speed exceeding 350km/h, restraint behind the engineering desk seems perfectly acceptable.

What Makes The Lamborghini Revuelto Impavido Special?
The Impavido was developed through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam personalisation programme. Its changes are primarily visual, but this is considerably more advanced than just selecting an unusual paint colour and stitching the owner’s initials into the headrests.
Lamborghini says the exterior graphics were inspired by individual elements of samurai armour, translated into the angular design language of the Revuelto.
Lamborghini Revuelto Impavido Design Elements
The sharp lines extending across the doors and rear bumper are intended to evoke the movement of a katana strike. Golden accents represent the odoshi: the silk cords traditionally used to bind the plates of samurai armour. These cords could also communicate identity, status and clan affiliation.
At the front, the design references the maedate, an ornamental crest fitted to the front of a samurai helmet. The crest traditionally represented the wearer’s identity and position while making the helmet instantly recognisable.
Additional detailing on the roof and fenders draws from kozane, the small lacquered plates used to construct certain forms of Japanese armour. Lamborghini has reinterpreted their layered appearance through modern graphics and textures, complementing the Revuelto’s exposed carbon-fibre structure and sharply defined surfaces.

Four Samurai-Inspired Configurations
Lamborghini will offer the Revuelto Impavido in four predefined configurations. Two feature gloss finishes, while the remaining pair adopt matt paintwork.
Verde Campus
The first gloss configuration uses Verde Campus, a rich green inspired by Hisui jade. Recognised as Japan’s national stone, jade carries associations with life, fertility and the soul of the earth.
The green bodywork is paired with Nero Noctis and Bronzo Oreadi accents, giving the Impavido’s angular graphics considerably more visual depth.
Grigio Artis Lucido
Grigio Artis Lucido draws inspiration from the katana and the skill required to create one. Lamborghini links the colour to loyalty, honour and master craftsmanship.
Like the Verde Campus specification, it receives gloss Nero Noctis and Bronzo Oreadi detailing.
Grigio Crater Matt
The first matt configuration is Grigio Crater Matt, influenced by black and grey samurai armour. Lamborghini says the colour represents fearlessness, authority and spiritual protection.
Its exterior graphics use Nero Nemesis and Bronzo Serse, while the paint, carbon-fibre components and livery share a coordinated matt finish.
Rosso Pyra
Rosso Pyra is inspired by Sanada Red, a colour closely associated with the Sanada samurai clan and its reputation for bravery. Here, it represents courage, strength and discipline.
The matt red finish is once again paired with Nero Nemesis and Bronzo Serse accents. It will probably be the least discreet of the four, although discretion was never included in the Revuelto’s list of drive modes.
All four configurations ride on staggered Altanero forged wheels measuring 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear. The wheels are finished in Shiny Black and accompanied by Bronzo brake calipers and Matt Black exhaust outlets.
Inside The Revuelto Impavido
The Impavido’s cultural detailing continues inside, where Nero Ade leather is combined with Lamborghini’s Corsa-Tex microfibre upholstery.
Bronzo Oreadi contrast elements connect the cabin with the exterior’s golden detailing. The package also includes bespoke seat embroidery, a unique door pattern, embroidered roof trim and a dedicated Samurai logo.
A carbon-fibre plaque identifies each car as part of the limited series. The inscription “1 di 25” denotes one of 25 examples, with each vehicle individually numbered.
The basic Revuelto cabin architecture remains unchanged. It uses three digital displays:
- 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster
- 8.4-inch central touchscreen
- 9.1-inch passenger display
The passenger screen can show vehicle information and entertainment functions, allowing the person alongside the driver to participate in the experience. Whether that makes them an informed co-driver or simply better prepared to criticise the braking points will depend on the passenger.
Does The Revuelto Impavido Have The Same Powertrain?
The Revuelto Impavido retains the standard car’s High Performance Electrified Vehicle powertrain. Its party piece is a 6,498cc naturally aspirated V12 that develops 813hp at 9,250rpm and 725Nm at 6,750rpm. The engine can rev to 9,500rpm, which is an increasingly rare figure in an industry steadily moving towards turbocharging and electrification.
Rather than replacing the V12, Lamborghini has used electrification to extend its capabilities. Three electric motors support the combustion engine: two axial-flux motors drive the front wheels, while a third motor is integrated into the rear powertrain. Combined output stands at 1,001hp, while total system torque is quoted at 807Nm.
A 3.8kWh lithium-ion battery is mounted longitudinally within the central tunnel. The battery can be externally charged, replenished through regenerative braking or charged directly by the V12. Its capacity is modest by conventional plug-in hybrid standards because it is designed primarily to deliver power, sharpen responses and enable torque vectoring rather than provide a lengthy electric commute.
The front motors also allow the Revuelto to operate with electric all-wheel drive and provide precise torque distribution across the front axle. At the rear sits an eight-speed transverse dual-clutch transmission, the first dual-clutch gearbox fitted to a Lamborghini production V12.
Lamborghini Revuelto Impavido Performance
Despite the additional hybrid hardware, extensive use of carbon fibre helps the Revuelto achieve a weight-to-power ratio of 573hp per tonne.
Performance figures remain appropriately serious:
- 0–100km/h: 2.5 seconds
- 0–200km/h: Under 7 seconds
- Top speed: More than 350km/h
- 100–0km/h braking distance: Approximately 30 metres
The chassis is built around what Lamborghini calls a monofuselage. It combines a carbon-fibre monocoque with a front structure manufactured from Forged Composites, replacing the aluminium front structure used by the Aventador.
Lamborghini claims the Revuelto’s monofuselage is 10% lighter than the Aventador chassis while offering 25% greater torsional stiffness. Stopping power comes from CCB Plus carbon-ceramic brakes. The front discs measure 410mm and use ten-piston calipers, while the rear receives 390mm discs with four-piston calipers.
Active aerodynamics include a rear wing with three operating positions. Depending on the driving conditions and selected mode, the car can prioritise lower drag, additional stability or maximum downforce.
The Revuelto also offers 13 selectable driving configurations using combinations of Città, Strada, Sport and Corsa modes with Recharge, Hybrid and Performance energy strategies.
Lamborghini In Japan
Japan has long been an important market for Lamborghini, particularly because of the country’s deep enthusiasm for design, engineering and limited-production performance cars. Lamborghini Japan was formally established in 2001, making 2026 its 25th anniversary. The Impavido commemorates that milestone with one car for each year of the company’s official Japanese-market presence.
According to Francesco Scardaoni, Regional Director of Automobili Lamborghini Asia Pacific, Japan remains one of Lamborghini’s most established and passionate markets in the region, with customers showing a particularly strong appreciation for the brand’s V12 heritage.
The Impavido also follows Lamborghini’s broader tradition of creating highly specific regional editions. Recent examples have included the Revuelto Opera Unica, the North America-exclusive Revuelto NA63 and several market-specific Ad Personam commissions.
Lamborghini Revuelto Impavido Price And Availability
Only 25 examples of the Lamborghini Revuelto Impavido will be produced, and all are reserved for the Japanese market. Lamborghini has not announced pricing or confirmed whether every example has already been allocated, but we suspect all 25 are already spoken for.
There is no indication that the Impavido will be offered in the UAE or other international markets. Its rarity, however, means an example could eventually appear outside Japan through the collector-car market, most likely accompanied by a price tag brave enough to honour the name.
