What is the main idea behind this special edition?

BMW’s main idea is to build a motorcycle that honours TT heritage while showcasing the performance image of its M-badged superbike line.

The Motorcycle also stands as a tribute to BMW’s recent and historical feats at the Isle of Man TT, including Georg Meier’s 1939 Senior TT victory, one of the earliest defining moments in the marque’s Isle of Man story and Peter Hickman and Davey Todd’s runs of victories on board the BMW superbike. One of the most notable marks BMW has left on the legacy of the Isle of Man TT is Peter Hickman’s all-time Isle of Man TT lap record, set in 2023 on a BMW M 1000 RR with a time of 16:36.115 at an average speed of 136.358 mph.
