What does the watch look like?

Huawei made the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 for runners. The company used a titanium alloy. Therefore, the watch weighs 43.5 g. The device features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display. You can choose from three colours: Dawn Orange, Dusk Blue, and Midnight Black. The watch also includes an AirDry woven strap. This strap features a hollow design. As a result, it allows airflow and repels sweat.

How does it track your runs?

Huawei worked with marathon runner Eliud Kipchoge to develop the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2. They added a tool to calculate your lactate threshold. This feature measures your training intensity and muscle strength. Consequently, you can plan your workouts based on data. Also, it includes an Intelligent Marathon mode. This mode tracks road races. Furthermore, it gives pace guidance and refuelling reminders.

What health and battery features does it offer?

The HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 tracks health metrics. The device features the Huawei TruSense system. This system monitors your heart rate. Additionally, the watch includes an ECG sensor to check your heart rhythm. Thus, it helps you monitor your physical condition. HUAWEI claims the battery lasts up to 14 days on light usage. Furthermore, it provides up to 32 hours of continuous outdoor tracking.

How does the watch track locations?

The watch includes a 3D floating antenna. Therefore, it increases positioning accuracy by 250 per cent compared to older models. This helps the device track you in shaded areas. Additionally, the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 has a 5 ATM and IP69 water-resistance rating. As a result, you can wear it for free dives up to 40 metres deep.
