G-Power’s New BMW M2 Upgrade Comes With 700hp And A Functional Carbon Hood

The new M2 is already chaos in a compact form factor. G-Power just injected 700hp, proper hardware, and a carbon bonnet that actually manages heat.

Take the latest BMW M2, keep the S58 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight-six, and hand it to a Bavarian tuner that has spent 40+ years annoying BMW’s own M division engineers. The result is the new G-Power G2M Bi-TURBO. The aim here is to deliver bigger numbers in a way that remains road legal and mechanically coherent. This isn’t your average loud remap and a sticker pack.

How Much Power Does The G-Power BMW M2 Make?

Here are the headline numbers: 700hp and 840 Nm. That output comes via G-Power’s GP-700 Performance Software, specially calibrated for the S58B30 engine. Throttle response sharpens, torque delivery thickens, and the powerband feels more urgent across the rev range.

Crucially, OEM engine protection and diagnostic systems remain active. So while the numbers jump dramatically, the safety net stays in place. That’s important when you’re extracting this much from a modern turbocharged straight-six.

Supporting Hardware That Makes It Legit

Software alone doesn’t create a reliable 700hp package. To unlock BMW’s factory tuning restrictions, G-Power uses its ECU Unlock system. On the hardware side, the setup includes HJS sport downpipes, a GP-Deeptone rear silencer, and a carbon-fibre intake system. The result is improved flow, sharper acoustics, and better breathing under sustained load.

GP-Venturi Carbon Hood & Hurricane Wheels

The standout visual element is the GP-Venturi carbon bonnet. And no, it’s not just there to flex carbon fibre in a supermarket parking lot. It integrates Dynamic Venting technology with Venturi nozzles designed to extract heat from the engine bay. With 700hp under that hood, thermal management isn’t optional.

Buyers can choose between the fully clear-coated RR version or an RS variant partially finished in body colour. Both look aggressive. Only one might match your tastes better. G-Power finishes the package with Hurricane RR forged wheels. Wrapped in Michelin rubber, the staggered setup enhances traction while visually filling the arches properly.

The M2 was never a subtle car. G-Power’s G2M Bi-TURBO simply amplifies everything, while keeping it certified for the road.
