TAG Heuer launched three new models during the recently held LVMH Watch Week 2026 in Milan, Italy. They include the Carrera Chronograph featuring a new glassbox design; the Carrera Seafarer – a modern interpretation of the brand’s sailing watch; and the Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph – the first time the brand’s split-seconds or rattrapante complication has been incorporated in the Carrera collection.
Carrera Chronograph

The Carrera Chronograph is “a powerful continuation of one of the Maison’s most celebrated icons and a key representation of TAG Heuer’s 2026 theme, Master of Chronograph. This launch extends the celebrated glassbox family with a complimentary size designed to captivate horology enthusiasts while remaining deeply rooted in Jack Heuer’s original vision.”
The Carrera Chronograph is presented in three dial versions: blue circular brushed dial, teal green circular brushed dial, and a black circular brushed dial with a red outer ring.
It is powered by Calibre TH20-01, an automatic column wheel chronograph movement with a vertical clutch that drives the hours, minutes, small seconds, and chronograph functions (central seconds, 30-minutes counter, and 12-hour counter). It features 33 jewels, beats at a frequency of 4 Hz or 28,800 vph and has a power reserve of 80 hours.

The case is made from stainless steel, fine-brushed and polished. It measures 41 mm (diameter) * 14.17 mm (thickness). Lug-to-lug distance: 47.48 mm. The dial side features a glassbox domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The caseback – made from stainless steel and screwed to the main case – features a sapphire crystal. Water resistant up to 100 metres. The watch is fitted to a seven-rows ‘beads of rice’ bracelet with a butterfly folding clasp made from stainless steel, both fine-brushed and polished.

Carrera Seafarer

The Carrera Seafarer is “a modern interpretation of the celebrated ‘Skipper’ regatta countdown timer of the 1960s, revisiting its maritime heritage and adding a modern twist in a special version of the new TAG Heuer Carrera signature glassbox design.”
The Carrera Seafarer features a champagne opaline dial.
It is powered by Calibre TH20-04, an automatic column wheel chronograph movement with a vertical clutch that drives the hours, minutes, small seconds, date, chronograph functions (central seconds and 30-minutes counter) and tide indicator counter. It features 31 jewels, beats at a frequency of 4 Hz or 28,800 vph and has a power reserve of 80 hours.

The case is made from steel, fine-brushed and polished, and features a bezel free construction. It measures 42 mm (diameter) * 14.14 mm (thickness). Lug-to-lug distance: 48.6 mm. The dial side features a glassbox domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The caseback – made from stainless steel and screwed to the main case – features a sapphire crystal. Water resistant up to 100 metres. The watch is fitted to a seven-rows ‘beads of rice’ bracelet and folding clasp made from stainless steel, both fine-brushed and polished. A beige strap featuring Intrepid Teal lining and attached to a stainless steel folding clasp is provided.

Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph

The Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph is “the first time the rattrapante complication has been included in the TAG Heuer Carrera collection” and it “represents a milestone for TAG Heuer as the brand continues to show how incredible cutting-edge design can be blended with an exceptional history.”
The Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph features an anthracite translucent acrylic glass dial.
It is powered by Calibre TH81-01, an automatic column wheel chronograph movement that drives the hours, minutes, small seconds, chronograph functions (central seconds 30-minutes counter and 12-hour counter) and split-seconds function. It features 52 jewels, beats at a frequency of 5 Hz or 36,000 vph and has a power reserve of 65 hours.

The case is made from grade-5 titanium that is fine brushed, polished, sand-blasted, and features a bezel free construction. It measures 42 mm (diameter) * 15.17 mm (thickness). Lug-to-lug distance: 48.6 mm. Lug width: 22 mm. The dial side features a glassbox beveled and domed sapphire crystal. The caseback features a glassbox sapphire crystal. Water resistant up to 30 metres. The watch comes with a black rubber strap with textile embossing and red stitching and fitted with a grade 5 titanium folding clasp, the latter coated with black DLC and sand-blasted.

The new models are an evolution and welcome addition to TAG Heuer’s iconic Carrera collection. The Carrera Chronograph is an attractive and versatile watch that evokes the brand’s motorsports heritage with an accessible price point. The Carrera Seafarer with its beautiful dial colours, tide indicator counter and accessible price point will appeal to collectors with a passion for the sea. The Carrera Split-Seconds Chronograph showcases the brand’s high-end watchmaking clothed in an avant-garde aesthetic.
