Ready to Rolls in luxury while being all starry-eyed? This new Cullinan lets you do just that. Good news? It just proved that the UAE is still the king of the hill when it comes to bespoke Rolls-Royce models. Not so good news? Well, even if you can afford it, you can’t really buy the Cullinan Cosmos because it’s a one-off bespoke creation commissioned by an assumedly wealthy buyer (Obviously).
An SUV That Reaches For The Sky
Commissioned through Rolls-Royce’s Private Office Dubai, the Cullinan Cosmos is a celestial celebration of imagination. Inspired by the cosmos and brought to life with obsessive attention to detail, it features the first fully hand-painted Starlight Headliner in Rolls-Royce history. That’s right — 160 painstaking hours by a single in-house artist to recreate the Milky Way across the ceiling, complete with fibre-optic constellations. Think about it: every night drive turns into a voyage through deep space.

The exterior sets the stage. Finished in Arabescato Pearl, the SUV gleams like moonlight cutting through darkness, accented by a Charles Blue coachline and an Illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy that glows like a guiding star. It’s dramatic, it’s bold, and it looks like it should be the centrepiece of the museum of future space travel.
Space Inside, Peace Within
The interior bathes you in Charles Blue and Grace White leather, with Piano White veneers giving a futuristic, satellite-like edge. A unique Star Cluster motif, embroidered and painted across the cabin, makes sure every surface reminds you of the car’s cosmic inspiration. It’s serene, otherworldly, and deeply personal to the commissioning family.

But here’s the kicker: Rolls-Royce didn’t just throw leather and stars together — they had to invent new techniques for this one. To paint the Milky Way’s wispy cloud effects on the headliner, the artist used… wait for it — a makeup brush! Is it the most advanced invention? Maybe not. Ingenuity? 100 points to Goodwood.
Space Travel-Like Performance?
Of course, beneath all the artistry, it’s still a Cullinan. Which means you’ve got a 6.7-litre twin-turbo V12 quietly humming away, producing around 563hp. This one’s not about shredding tires but about endless, effortless thrust, delivered so smoothly you barely notice physics happening around you. Zero drama, just wafting dominance. Come to think of it, it’s quite similar to astronauts aboard the International Space Station orbiting the earth at 28,000km/h but not feeling all that velocity. We’ll leave you to imagine that.

The Spirit Of The Cosmos
The Cullinan Cosmos is a statement. One that proves money can buy space travel — without ever leaving Earth. It represents everything petrolheads secretly admire about Rolls-Royce: the obsession with detail, the engineering mastery, and the fact that even when building the world’s most opulent SUV, they don’t forget to strap it to a powerhouse V12.

This is what happens when imagination collides with craftsmanship. A luxury SUV that looks up at the stars and says: why not bring them inside?
