After introducing a nonstop flight service between Nha Trang and Busan, Vietnam Airlines has launched another new route to expand its international presence further. Vietnam’s flag carrier is now flying directly to Denpasar, Bali, from Ho Chi Minh City, making the new connection its second service to Indonesia. The inaugural flight VN641 took off from Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 10:25 and arrived at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar at 15:00 the same day. Both times mentioned are local. Aboard the Airbus A321 were 161 passengers.
Vietnam Airlines will initially operate its newest route four times weekly: Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The carrier plans to increase the frequency to daily next month. The Ho Chi Minh City-Bali route launch also coincides with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Indonesia.
The new route will support Vietnam’s broader strategy of strengthening aviation links and economic ties across the ASEAN region and play a crucial role in the airline’s global network. The flight schedule will allow Vietnam Airlines to offer convenient transitions for passengers to and from Europe, Northeast Asia, India, the United States, and several other long-haul destinations.
