More Finnair Flights To Four Finnish Towns In The Winter

The names: Rovaniemi, Ivalo, Kittilä, and Kuusamo.

Are you planning a getaway to Northern Finland next winter? Finnair has got your back! The flag carrier of Finland has announced that it will offer record capacity to Finnish Lapland and increased weekly frequencies to much-sought-after domestic destinations during the same period. The additional services are planned for the busiest travel days around the weekend.

There are four names that Finnair has confirmed: Rovaniemi, Ivalo, Kittilä, and Kuusamo. To Rovaniemi, the airline will operate up to 72 flights weekly next winter. That equates to an increment of 10 flights compared to the winter that went by. During the busiest period, Finnair will have up to 16 services a day on Saturdays and 14 flights a day on Sundays.

Heading to Levi and Ylläs? Then flight connections to Kittilä will surely come in handy, where Finnair will fly up to 41 weekly services in the upcoming winter season. That’s seven more than last winter. During the peak period, the airline plans to operate up to eight daily flights on Saturdays and Sundays.

Similarly, Finnair will fly up to 33 times a week to Ivalo, with extra flights on the weekends. To Kuusamo, a popular destination during the winter season in Northern Finland, the carrier will add two additional services on Saturday and one on Sunday.
