Air Canada Launches A New Route To Southeast Asia

The inaugural flight departed on April 1 and will reach its destination on April 3.

A new international route joins Air Canada’s network. On April 1, 2025, Canada’s flag carrier’s inaugural flight to Manila, Philippines, departed from Vancouver. Planned as a year-round service, the new route becomes the airline’s 12th transpacific offering from Vancouver. This list includes destinations in Japan, the People’s Republic of China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand.

Flight AC017 departed from Vancouver at 01:55 and is scheduled to land in Manila at 06:20 on April 3, 2025. In April, this sector will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and will shift to Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, from May 1, 2025. Those travelling in the opposite direction will take Air Canada’s flight AC018, which starts its journey at 09:25 and concludes at 06:20. This sector will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays this month. From next month, it’ll shift to a four-day affair: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. All times mentioned are local.
