airBaltic And Bulgaria Air Activate Codeshare Agreement

Latvia's and Bulgaria's flag carriers—airBaltic and Bulgaria Air—have announced the start of their codeshare partnership. As part of the agreement, airBaltic will add its code (BT) on the Sofia-Varna route. Bulgaria Air will add its code (FB) on the Sofia-Riga route and onward the flights operated by airBaltic from its base in Riga to Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, and Helsinki. The first codeshare flight was operated yesterday, May 14, 2024. The codeshare agreement between airBaltic and Bulgaria Air stands to benefit passengers of both airlines. Where Bulgaria Air travellers can find connections to Scandinavian destinations on a single ticket, passengers of airBaltic can use the same flexibility and travel to destinations served by Bulgaria Air.
