Air India Announces More Flights To Three Cities In Europe

Planning a trip to Europe this summer? You might want to consider an additional carrier that can take you there. Air India, which presently operates direct flights to six European cities, has announced additional services for three of those destinations.

From June 22, 2024, the airline will begin operating daily non-stop flights from Delhi to Amsterdam Schiphol (up from four times weekly) and Delhi to Milan Malpensa (up from five times weekly). Furthermore, Air India will operate an extra service between Delhi and Copenhagen, bumping the weekly frequency to five. It’ll operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Earlier this month, the airline confirmed that from June 16, 2024, it would start a flight service between Delhi and Zurich. This will operate four times weekly.

The increased frequency of flights to the three European cities means Air India will fly 80 weekly services to mainland Europe. Besides the four mentioned above, the carrier also operates flights to Frankfurt, Paris and Vienna. Air India uses a two-class Boeing 787 Dreamliner on all European flights. The aircraft boasts 18 flat beds in Business Class and 236 Economy seats.
