Rezvani Retro’s RR1 750hp sports car boasts ‘70s LeMans race car design

Rezvani Motors launches new division that celebrates iconic race car designs from yesteryear

Rezvani Motors sprung into the limelight post the unveiling of its military-spec Tank and Vengeance SUVs featuring an imposing design language, luxurious interiors with ballistic protection. And now, the carmaker hailing from California, America, is branching out from its military roots to create the perfect blend between retro designs and modern performance with its latest model line-up collection called Rezvani Retro.

This new division’s inaugural model has already been unveiled and it’s called the RR1. Designed in-house by Rezvani, the RR1 draws inspiration from the iconic race cars that dominated the Le Mans in the 1970s for the exterior design language. However, the internal mechanicals are capitalised upon the latest Porsche 911, the 992-generation, with lightweight carbon fiber construction for almost the entire body except the driver and passenger doors.

Limited to just 50 units globally, customers can choose between three distinct variants – RR1 550, RR1 565 and RR1 750. The RR1 550 utilises the 992-gen 911 Carrera S Turbo as base, injecting 550hp and carbon fiber bodywork to offer an enhanced power to weight ratio than the donor car. If your RR1 will be visiting several racetracks, an option to embed Ohlins TTX-Pro coiler suspension setup is also available.

Jumping up the ladder to the RR1 565 features the hardcore 992 GT3 and GT3 RS platforms as base and 565hp power output on offer. It also opens up a choice of transmission – a 6-speed manual or the standard Porsche PDK. Either way, the flat-six engine on the RR1 565 will have its redline soaring up until 9,200RPM, making it a treat for the auditory senses.

The top-spec RR1 750 boasts a 750hp power output, courtesy of being built upon the 911 Turbo S platform. Enhanced throttle response, throaty exhaust note and the option to spec either street or sport suspension are highlight offerings of this sports car.

Rezvani Motors’ new brand launch of Rezvani Retro brings an exciting special offer for customers with the first five cars rolling off the production line will be priced at $149,000 each. Post this initial batch, prices for the remaining 45 units will see an increase.
