Hennessey has released a $200k skeleton watch to match your $3m Venom F5 hypercar

If you can afford this 1,800hp hypercar, then you can probably spare some change for this Skeleton Concept X Hennessey chronograph

American hypercar manufacturer, Hennessey Performance has partnered with a watch brand called Skeleton Concept to create a timepiece to match the Venom F5 hypercar.

Based on a Rolex Daytona, this chronograph features the beautiful and robust 4130 Caliber movement but with some changes to make it really stand out. This includes stripping back unwanted material to create the skeleton-look – so owners can see the inner workings of their watch.

To make sure the bits don’t fall out, the watch is covered in a completely clear sapphire crystal case so the owner can really make the most of what’s going on inside their new purchase while driving one of the world’s fastest production cars.

But its magic extends beyond the glass too, as even the screw-down pushers at the right-hand side of the watch have been engineered to deliver the satisfying and precise feedback you’d expect to find from the steering wheel-mounted gearshift paddles in the Venom F5.

Speaking of which, the Venom F5 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.6-litre V8 engine that produces 1,817hp and 1,192 lb-ft (1,616 Nm) of torque. But all this isn’t cheap.

With a final price of USD$3 million, you’d have to be pretty wealthy to afford one, which is why the USD$200k watch that goes with it is that bit more special.
