Ducati has unveiled the 2027 Diavel V4 and the new Diavel V4 S at EICMA 2026, introducing styling revisions, updated electronics, additional equipment and the Ducati Factory Made (DFM) programme to its muscle roadster range. The new Diavel V4 S marks the return of the S variant in the V4-powered era.
What is new on the 2027 Ducati Diavel V4 and V4 S?
For 2027, the Ducati Diavel V4 receives a series of styling and technology updates while retaining its existing engine platform. The biggest addition to the lineup is the Diavel V4 S, which adds electronically controlled Öhlins suspension and extra equipment.
The standard Diavel V4 gets redesigned air intakes inspired by the Diavel V4 RS, a revised single-piece tail section and new five-spoke alloy wheels. It also adds several revised exterior components, including the silencer cover and front and side covers, for a more aggressive look.
On the technology front, the MY27 models receive a revised engine control strategy, Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 and a new 6.9-inch TFT instrument display with optical bonding technology.
From 2027 onwards, Ducati has included the Diavel V4 range in Ducati Factory Made, allowing customers to configure their motorcycles with different colours, components and accessories directly at the factory.

What engine powers the 2027 Ducati Diavel V4?
Both the 2027 Ducati Diavel V4 and V4 S are powered by the 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine. The 90-degree V4 engine produces 168 hp at 10,750 rpm and 126 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and the new Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 system, which enables clutchless upshifts and downshifts.
What chassis, suspension and braking hardware do the Diavel V4 models get?
The 2027 Diavel V4 continues with an aluminium monocoque frame and a single-sided aluminium swingarm. The standard model uses a fully adjustable 50mm upside-down front fork and a fully adjustable rear monoshock.

The Diavel V4 S takes a different approach to suspension hardware. It gets 48mm Öhlins NIX30 front forks and an Öhlins ARX40 rear shock, both equipped with Smart EC 3.0 semi-active electronic damping adjustment. The suspension system uses information from the motorcycle’s IMU and electronically adapts damping characteristics according to riding conditions.
Both motorcycles feature twin 330mm semi-floating front discs paired with Brembo Stylema four-piston monobloc callipers and Cornering ABS. The rear gets a 265mm disc.
What electronic features does the 2027 Ducati Diavel V4 offer?
Apart from the usual, the 2027 Ducati Diavel V4 range additionally gets a Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 and a new 6.9-inch full-colour TFT instrument display with optical bonding technology. The instrument cluster offers smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Ducati has also added a 20W USB-C charging port near the display.
Other electronic equipment includes Riding Modes, Power Modes, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control and Bosch Cornering ABS. The motorcycles also feature Ducati Power Launch, cruise control, Ducati Multimedia System and Extended Cylinder Deactivation technology.

What makes the Ducati Diavel V4 S different from the standard V4?
Both motorcycles share the same engine and chassis platform, but the most significant difference between the standard Diavel V4 and the V4 S is their suspension equipment. While the standard model gets conventional fully adjustable suspension, the S variant features Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 semi-active suspension.
The V4 S also receives a lithium-ion battery, heated grips and machined alloy wheels. Interestingly, despite the additional equipment, the Diavel V4 S weighs less at 22kg compared to 225 kf for the standard Diavel V4.
