It shares its basic engine architecture with the Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660, but receives a more powerful engine tune and a sportier chassis setup. In 2026, it received significant technical and visual updates.
What engine powers the Daytona 660?
The 2026 Daytona 660 is powered by a 660cc, liquid-cooled, inline three-cylinder petrol engine. The engine produces 95 PS at 11,250rpm and 69Nm of peak torque at 8,250rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox and a wet, multi-plate slip-and-assist clutch.
What suspension and braking equipment does it use?
The most significant chassis upgrade for 2026 is the new adjustable front suspension. The Daytona 660 now uses a Showa 41mm upside-downfork with adjustable compression and rebound damping. At the rear, it continues with a Showa monoshock RSU unit featuring preload adjustment. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, with a 120/70-section front tyre and a 180/55-section rear tyre.
Braking hardware comprises twin 310mm discs at the front, operated by four-piston radial callipers. The rear wheel uses a 220mm disc with a single-piston calliper, with ABS as standard.
