2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2 & V2 S Launched in India

The 2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2 is set to launch in India, starting at ₹17.50 lakh ex-showroom, powered by a 120 hp V2 engine and featuring advanced electronics.

Iconic Italian Motorcycle maker—Ducati launched the 2025 Streetfighter V2 and V2 S in India, bringing the lightest V2 naked fighter to Indian enthusiasts with ex-showroom prices starting at ₹17.50 lakh for the standard model and ₹19.49 lakh for the premium S variant.
The Streetfighter is evolved from the Ducati Panigale V2 platform, with redefined ergonomics and a performance setup suitable for urban and street use, featuring manageable power delivery and a suspension setup ideal for Indian roads.
At its core, the Ducati Streetfighter V2 and V2 S versions are powered by a new Supersquadro 890 cc 90-degree V2 engine—the lightest twin-cylinder engine Ducati has ever built. The engine delivers 120 hp at 10,750 rpm and 93.3 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. About 70% of the torque is available as early as 3,000 rpm. Paired with a slick 6-speed gearbox equipped with a DSQ 2.0 quickshifter tailored for urban settings and highway cruising. An optional racing exhaust bumps to 126 hp and trims about 4.5 kg overall.
Ducati Streetfighter V2 features a lightweight monocoque frame that uses the engine as a stressed member. The standard V2 variant rides on fully adjustable Marzocchi 41 mm USD forks with 150 mm travel and Sachs rear monoshock, while V2 S’s set-up features Öhlins NIX30 forks at the front and  Öhlins TTX36 shock at the rear for sharper and responsive handling. While both variants feature Sachs steering dampers, optimum response and feedback.
Braking hardware comprises a high-performance Brembo M50 monobloc radially mounted callipers, dual 320 mm floating discs at the front, and at the rear, it features a 245 mm disc paired with a 2-piston calliper. Braking setup is shared across the two Streetfighter variants, V2 and V2S, and both variants come equipped with Bosch’s Cornering ABS for enhanced stability.
On the electronics side, Ducati left no stone unturned — and equipped the Streetfighter V2 with a comprehensive list of rider aids enabled by a 6-axis AMU unit, the list includes: Cornering ABS with slide-by-brake function, Ducati Traction Control (DTC) with four ride modes (Race, Sport, Road, and Wet) that adjusts intervention based on wheel slip detection and road conditions, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) and Engine Brake Control (EBC).
The 2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2 and V2 S launched in India come only with the iconic Ducati Red. But the riders get to accessorise their Streetfighter V2 and V2 S with a host of options that are on offer from the factory.
The Motorcycle has been launched at a price of ₹17.50 lakh ex-showroom, making it significantly more expensive than its peers, such as the Triumph Street Triple and Kawasaki Z900.
