Five More Airport Lounges Available To These Eurowings Customers

German carrier Eurowings has a delicious update for its BIZclass, HON Circle Members and Senators. The airline, which already provides access to several airport lounges across Europe and the Middle East, has expanded the list by adding five more spread across four international locations.

At Palma de Mallorca, Eurowings’ BIZclass, HON and SEN status passengers can access the “VIP Lounge Mediterraneo” and “VIP Lounge Formentor”. Both lounges are located at Terminal 1 of the airport and can be accessed from 5 am to midnight. Similarly, flyers in any of the three membership levels can access the “First Class Lounge” in Cairo, the “Marhaba Lounge” in Dubai and the “Plaza Premium Lounge” in Jeddah. All three are open round the clock.

Maserati exhibits convertibles and Maserati Classiche Programme at “Auto e Moto d’Epoca 2024

“Auto e Moto d’Epoca” is Europe’s biggest trade fair for classic cars and their spare parts. October 24th to 27th, 2024, witnessed Bologna host the 41st edition of “Auto e Moto d’Epoca” and Italian luxury carmaker Maserati was also in attendance. To showcase the brand’s legacy as an iconic grand tourer producer, Maserati exhibited two convertibles from different eras – a 1969 Maserati Ghibli Spyder 4.7 from the past and a 2024 Maserati GranCabrio Trofeo representing the modern range of Maserati.

The Maserati stand at the “Auto e Moto d’Epoca” also indulged visitors with the Maserati Classiche Programme – a dedicated programme to protect and preserve the originality and authenticity of Maserati’s classic and vintage cars with exclusive assistance servicing packages comprising maintenance for the car and on-demand car detailing service performed in-house by the Trident brand. The Maserati Classiche Programme now also includes a process to certify authenticity with a Certification process that gets adjudged by a committee of experts and is only offered for Maserati cars from more than 20 years ago plus the special series, including those from the recent past such as the MC12 and the Quattroporte limited editions. The Maserati Classiche division is also tasked to manufacture spare parts for older cars that are no longer available on the market using original design blueprints but manufactured with modern technology whilst retaining their original aesthetic appearance.

LATAM Places A New Order For Boeing 787-9s

Boeing has received a fresh order from LATAM Airlines Group. The latter has placed a firm order for ten 787-9 Dreamliners with the option of purchasing five more aircraft of the same kind. The airline group presently operates a fleet of 37 787-8s and 787-9s, making it the largest 787 family aircraft operator in South America.

Including the latest order, LATAM aims to grow its 787 Dreamliner fleet to 52 by the end of the decade. The group’s Chief Financial Officer, Ramiro Alfonsin, clarifies that the new order means at least two new aircraft will join the fleet every year starting in 2025.
