Watch Locater – the Middle East’s first event for pre-owned luxury watches
A first of its kind event for both sellers and buyers of pre-owned luxury watches. Watch Locater will feature a selection of prestigious and rare watches. It will be held from 1-3 November 2024 in Dubai.

Watch Locater is the brainchild of Georges and Camille Sofia, both UAE residents who have a combined experience of about 40 years in the luxury watches and jewellery segment in the Gulf region. They have partnered with BARG Events to create Watch Locater. BARG Events previously managed EXPO2020 and COP28, both in Dubai, and have assisted in organizing projects for luxury brands such as Chopard, Graff, and Swarovski.
“The market for certified pre-owned watches has enjoyed a major boom in the last few years and was valued at around $25 billion in 2023 thanks to legions of global watch collectors who seek rare or discontinued timepieces. The United Arab Emirates continues to be one of the world’s horology hubs with a luxury watch market that is projected to generate a revenue of almost $3 billion in 2024, which represents a growth of more than 20 per cent from last year.”

Curated Exhibitor List
“A carefully selected group of exhibitors, ensuring access to the best luxury pieces Dubai can offer through professional vetted vendors.”
Renowned exhibitors such as Luxury Zone, Caliber Watches, Tres Hermanos, Gallop Watches, Allu UAE, Haute Horologe, Watch Trade, and Opto Watch Co, will be present with a range of luxury watches. A total of 25 boutiques will be present with their range of luxury watches. In addition, straps and accessories will be available.
Evaluation and Purchase of Timepieces
Horology experts, handpicked by Watch Locater, will be available to evaluate visitors watches and provide an immediate offer for purchase.
Check and Authentication Service
A team of “experienced technicians and watchmakers” will be able to authenticate watches, even after purchase at the event.
Daily Live Auction
The event will enable exhibitors to select watches from their inventory and have them auctioned by an expert auctioneer. “Live auctions will be held daily.” Useful for specific rare watches. “Visitors will also have the opportunity to sell their pre-owned watches to a specialised exhibitor.”
