Ulysse Nardin unveiled the new Diver [AIR] at Watches and Wonders Geneva held during April 1st – April 7th, 2025. The Diver [AIR] is the lightest mechanical dive watch in the world and has been crafted from recycled and upcycled materials.
Ulysse Nardin took advantage of an innovative ecosystem “by partnering with market leaders and start-ups to integrate innovative materials into the Diver [AIR] project. This cutting-edge approach to watchmaking was first introduced with the brand’s Diver Net concept watch in 2020.”

Central hours, minutes, and seconds.
Dial
Skeleton dial. The black hands and 12 hour-markers are coated with white Super-LumiNova.
Movement
Powered by UN-374, a new Manufacture automatic movement that drives the hours, minutes, and seconds. Its features a self-winding system and an open barrel.
The bridges and main plate are made from 90% recycled titanium (Thyssenkrupp and TiFast). Its oversized balance wheel and balance spring are made from silicon. The escapement wheel and anchor are made from upcycled silicon wafers (Sigatec).
Parts: 199. Jewels: 21. Frequency: 21,600 vph or 3 Hz.
Case
Diameter: 44 mm. Height: 14.70 mm.
Middle case is made from 90% recycled titanium (Thyssenkrupp and TiFast). Side parts are made from Nylo®-Foil (a material whose composition is 60% recycled fishing nets Nylo® from Fil & Fab and 40% upcycled carbon fibres from CDK Technologies, Extracthive, and Lavoisier). The concave rotating bezel is made from CarbonFoil (a material whose composition is 100% upcycled carbon fibres from CDK Technologies and Lavoisier) and features a domed sapphire glass.
Caseback is made from 90% recycled titanium (Thyssenkrupp and TiFast) and features a titanium open mineral glass case back.
Water resistant up to 200 metres. Able to withstand the impact of 5,000 G-forces.
Straps
Two interchangeable straps are included.
An orange elastic fabric strap with a scratch closing feature.
A white elastic fabric strap with a scratch closing feature.
The Diver [AIR] is compatible with R-STRAP and rubber straps.
Weight
The weight of the Diver [AIR] is less than 52 grams. Its head weighs less than 46 grams, and the strap weighs less than 6 grams.
