Toyota Is Teasing Us With A New 4×4 SUV

The 4Runner, Tacoma, the OG-Daddy FJ40, the legendary Land Cruiser, and funky FJ Cruiser all will have a new sibling in the stable if Toyota is to be believed. I wished they’d given us more, all we’re going to get is that silhouette. One of those two things we can name, the other is a mystery… I’m willing to bet the new Lexus GX has something to do with it!

We never did get the Land Cruiser Prado in the USA. Not at least as a Toyota. We got it as the Lexus GX–something a bit more luxury than the workhorse of a Toyota Prado everyone else got. Seeing as the new Land Cruiser is a bit up in the air as to it’s USA availability, I could see this teaser as being the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. A bit cheaper and a bit more off-road oriented, it’s likely to be a hit with the community at large. 

But who knows? Maybe this is something totally different. Maybe it’s Toyota’s version of the GX but stuffed with a reintroduced LFA engine to make a Prado-Hellcat-Trackhawk!!! Oh wouldn’t that be fun!!! Let me know what you think of this teaser shot from Toyota in the comments!
