Weltpremiere des Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake mit EQ Technologie in Kopenhagen, 2025
World premiere of the Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake with EQ Technology in Copenhagen, 2025.
Mercedes-Benz is introducing the second model in the all-new CLA family. The all-new CLA Shooting Brake is the first electric Mercedes-Benz station waggon available. It combines the elegance, sportiness, and intelligence of the CLA with ample space for passengers and luggage, featuring a luggage compartment volume ranging from 455 to 1,290 litres.
The illuminated front luggage compartment, located under the hood, holds an additional 101 litres. With a load capacity of 75 kg, a jet ski or two motorcycles can be easily transported on a trailer. The towing capacity is up to 1,800 kg (braked). A WLTP range of up to 761 km offers excellent suitability for everyday use and travel. Recharging for a further 310 km (WLTP) is completed in 10 minutes.
The CLA Shooting Brake celebrated its debut in 2012 with the CLS Shooting Brake. In 2015, Mercedes-Benz consolidated its position in the compact class with the introduction of the first CLA Shooting Brake.
The all-new CLA Shooting Brake is identical to the CLA Sedan up to the B-pillar. This means a low-slung roof, a sporty shark-nose design, and a unique front fascia adorned with 142 individually illuminated chrome-plated LED stars. Along with the optional MULTIBEAM LED headlights and light bar, the illuminated panel in Mercedes-Benz style contributes to the distinctive identity of all models in this new class. The rear lights also feature a star-shaped design, connected by a light bar.
The large panoramic roof sets a new standard in this class, creating an exceptional feeling of spaciousness and openness. It consists of heat-insulating laminated safety glass with an infrared-reflecting, low-emissivity (LowE) coating on the inside, which reduces the temperature of the vehicle interior in the summer and reduces heat loss by reflecting the interior heat into the room in the winter.
The panoramic roof is optionally available with a new function, which changes the transparency of the glass in 10 to 20 milliseconds. Passengers can choose between transparent and opaque for a clear view from above or greater privacy. It is operated via a dedicated menu in the vehicle settings on the centre console.
As a special addition, the large panoramic roof is illuminated. For the first time, it is connected to the ambient lighting, creating a starry sky. One hundred fifty-eight stars are embedded in its glass surface and can be illuminated with an individually selected ambient colour.
