The BMW M4 GT3 EVO: Tuned for Victory, Built for Drivers

M4 GT3 EVO is a serious contender in the GT racing world. The guys at BMW M Motorsport are sure this EVO package will build on the M4 GT3’s already impressive track record, including championship wins in DTM, the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, and the North American IMSA series.

The BMW M4 GT3 has been tearing up racetracks worldwide, but the engineers at M Motorsport weren’t satisfied with just winning. Sure, raw power is great, but they knew there was more to unlocking the M4 GT3’s true potential. The secret sauce? Listening to the folks behind the wheel. Through close calls with racing teams and drivers – including some famous faces like Jens Klingmann, Bruno Spengler, and Augusto Farfus – the focus for the new M4 GT3 EVO shifted to what matters most to drivers: how the car handles, how efficient it is, and how reliable it can be.

The EVO makeover brings a bunch of cool upgrades to the M4 GT3, both inside and out. On the outside, you’ll notice a lighter paint job – a special coating that sheds weight compared to traditional paint. Aerodynamics get a boost too, with smaller mirrors that cut through the air better, bigger air vents on the front wheels, and a rear wing that can be adjusted in more ways to fine-tune downforce.

But it’s not all about looking good. The EVO improves the driving experience in a bunch of smart ways. New stabilizer bars on both axles and bigger brakes in the back give drivers more precise control over the car. This also means the tyres and brakes wear down slower, letting drivers push the car harder for longer stints. Plus, a more finely tuned differential helps with handling and keeps those tyres happy.

The M4 GT3 EVO isn’t just about performance upgrades, though. It also sports a wild new paint scheme. Imagine a digital, 3D maze with the iconic BMW M colours – light blue, dark blue, and red – woven into a bold, contrasting pattern. It’s a head-turner for sure, and to shave off some weight, parts of the car with this dark design actually show off the real carbon fibre underneath!

With a price tag of 578,000 euros, the M4 GT3 EVO is a serious contender in the GT racing world. The guys at BMW M Motorsport are sure this EVO package will build on the M4 GT3’s already impressive track record, including championship wins in DTM, the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, and the North American IMSA series. They’re pumped about the car and thankful to everyone who helped create it. Their goal? To keep racking up wins with the M4 GT3 EVO while making sure every single customer has a race car that lets them compete and succeed.

And the drivers? They’re on board too. BMW M works driver Jens Klingmann is particularly excited about the smaller improvements that add up to a big difference. He loves how much easier it is on the tyres and brakes towards the end of a race – a huge advantage when you’re battling for the checkered flag. Klingmann is convinced that the M4 GT3 EVO, already a champion, takes a massive leap forward in how it performs and feels for drivers. So, buckle up, gearheads, because the M4 GT3 EVO is ready to dominate the racetrack – and it’s built with the driver in mind.
