Technical Updates Ahead of 2025 Dutch GP

Formula 1 is back at the infamous Zandvoort Circuit and it’s race day. It’s a relatively quiet weekend for upgrades at Zandvoort, but three F1 teams have introduced new components to extract more performance around the high-downforce Dutch circuit.

Red Bull Debut New Front Wing
Red Bull Racing have introduced a revised front wing featuring a longer chord on the wing flaps. The team says the modification is designed to increase aerodynamic load, helping the RB21 meet Zandvoort’s demanding cornering requirements.

Alpine Refine Rear Corners on the A525
Alpine have made updates to the rear corners of their A525, with reprofiled winglets integrated into the rear brake ducts. This upgrade aims to improve rear wheel wake management, reducing turbulence and enhancing the car’s stability under high downforce conditions. The changes are not limited to Zandvoort, they are expected to remain on the car for upcoming races.

Kick Sauber Enhance Diffuser Flow with New Brake Duct Vanes
Kick Sauber have also updated the rear corners of the C45. The team has introduced a modified rear brake duct vane design intended to improve airflow at the back of the car, particularly around the diffuser and rear wheels. This should boost overall rear-end efficiency and help the car generate more consistent downforce.

With only three teams bringing visible upgrades, the Dutch Grand Prix is set to be more about maximizing existing packages than chasing radical gains.
