Škoda Elroq: A Powerful New Contender in the Electric SUV Arena

Škoda Charger wall boxes provide a convenient and eco-friendly home charging solution, with options like solar-optimized charging and dynamic-tariff charging for cost optimisation.

Škoda is poised to disrupt the compact electric SUV segment with the introduction of the Elroq, set for a grand reveal in Autumn 2024. This all-electric addition to the Škoda family boasts a combination of functionality, style, and impressive performance, making it an ideal choice for urban and suburban adventures alike.

Designed for Everyday Exploration

The Elroq strikes a perfect balance between size, interior space, and electric mobility. Despite its compact exterior dimensions, it offers a generous luggage capacity ranging from 470 litres to a cavernous 1,580 litres with the rear seats folded down. This, coupled with Škoda’s signature Simply Clever features for maximising storage space, makes the Elroq a practical choice for everyday use.

Impressive Range and Powertrain Options

The Elroq caters to a variety of driving needs with four powertrain options: Elroq 50, 60, 85, and 85x. These variants offer a range exceeding 560 kilometres (WLTP) on a single charge, putting range anxiety at ease. Power outputs range from 125 kW to a significant 220 kW, ensuring thrilling performance for those seeking a more spirited driving experience. All Elroq models support DC fast charging, with the Elroq 85 and 85x reaching up to 175 kW, allowing you to recharge from 10% to 80% in a brisk 28 minutes.

A Bold New Design Language: Modern Solid

Skoda says Elroq ushers in a new era for Škoda design with the introduction of the Modern Solid design language. This philosophy emphasises robustness, functionality, and a sense of safety while maintaining the brand’s recognizable design elements. The most striking departure from tradition is the disappearance of the Škoda grille, replaced by the sleek Tech-Deck Face. This houses essential sensors like the radar and front camera, contributing to a clean and minimalist aesthetic.

Technological Advancements

According to Skoda, the Elroq is brimming with advanced technology and driver assistance systems. Škoda’s Travel Assist system leverages swarm data to enhance safety, while the Intelligent Park Assist features Remote Parking and Trained Parking functions for effortless manoeuvring in tight spaces. The Elroq also boasts up to nine airbags, providing exceptional passive safety.

Škoda Ecosystem: Connectivity and Charging Solutions

The Škoda Elroq seamlessly integrates into the Škoda ecosystem, offering a range of connected car features through the MyŠkoda app. This app allows you to monitor charging status, manage charging transactions, pre-condition the battery for faster charging, and even remotely control the air conditioning. Škoda Charger wall boxes provide a convenient and eco-friendly home charging solution, with options like solar-optimized charging and dynamic-tariff charging for cost optimisation.

A Commitment to Electric Mobility

The Elroq signifies Škoda’s unwavering commitment to electric mobility. It joins the Škoda Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé as part of a growing electric vehicle portfolio, underlining the brand’s vision for sustainable and accessible individual mobility. With the Elroq, Škoda offers a compelling electric SUV option for a wider range of customers, solidifying its position as a leader in the ever-evolving electric vehicle landscape.
