Blenheim Palace to Host UK’s Leading Automotive Event
Salon Privé Concours d’Élégance is scheduled to return to the grounds of Blenheim Palace for its 20th anniversary, reaffirming its position as the United Kingdom’s premier automotive event. The five-day event, which starts on August 27, 2025, will convene collectors, manufacturers, and enthusiasts from around the world to celebrate the finest examples of automotive design, engineering, and provenance.
Exhibition of Rare and Significant Vehicles
This year’s concours will feature over 100 exceptional vehicles, ranging from pre-war grand tourers to modern hypercars. Among the early confirmed entries are a 1932 Duesenberg Model SJ, a 1958 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster formerly owned by Romy Schneider, and the 1964 Alpine M64 Le Mans prototype. The event will showcase iconic British marques such as Aston Martin and Jaguar alongside Italian legends including Ferrari and Lamborghini, with rare Bugatti models adding further distinction.
International Participation and Expert Judging
Salon Privé 2025 will host collectors from Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia. Judging will be performed by a panel of internationally recognised experts in restoration, motorsport, and automotive design, including the esteemed appraiser Nigel Matthews. The concours format promotes dialogue between owners and guests, fostering a greater understanding of each vehicle’s history and craftsmanship.
Programme Highlights and New Additions
Alongside the concours, the event will include the Rally Tour and GT Tour, giving selected vehicles the chance to take part in scenic drives. Signature experiences such as Ladies’ Day by Boodles and the Supercar Weekend will make a return, combining luxury lifestyle with high-performance motoring.
