Oman’s pocket-friendly airline, SalamAir, has confirmed the addition of a new destination to its growing network. The carrier will begin flying directly to Nairobi, Kenya, from Muscat in February next year. This move will help increase its presence in East Africa and boost tourism and trade between the two countries.
SalamAir plans to operate two weekly services on the newly announced route. Tickets are already available, with the Lite fare starting at OMR 49.99. According to the airline, that ticket price is up to 70 per cent less than the other operators offer.
