Royal Enfield’s iconic flying Flea moniker has made a comeback. Once, A war hero parachuted behind enemy lines during World War 2, is now transcending its image from its military heritage to embracing the less theatrical future of electric mobility, in the form of a modern scrambler.
Unveiled at the 2025 EICMA show in Milan, the Flying Flea FF.S6 Scrambler is Royal Enfield’s first-ever production-ready electric motorcycle under its sub-brand: Flying Flea. The Brand revives the legendary Flying Flea name, which once aided the Allied forces on the battlefield with their formidable lightweight motorcycles.
The FF.S6 Scrambler is Flying Flea’s first-ever production-ready model after its resurrection. The FF.S6 revealed at EICMA is a lightweight Scrambler-style motorcycle design to meet the modern standards and embrace electric mobility.
Royal Enfield has designed the motorcycle to honour the heritage of the Flying Flea, adapting the original’s spirit of mobility, agility, and ruggedness, now enhanced with cutting-edge electric powertrain technology. The FF.S6 chassis features a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel setup, upside-down front forks, and long-travel suspension paired with an enduro-like seat, enabling the FF.S6 to tackle a multitude of surfaces, rough or paved.
The FF.S6 also incorporates off-road ride modes with dual-channel switchable ABS and lean-angle sensing, giving riders both confidence and control on challenging surfaces. Whereas the final specs on the type of battery and performance output are yet to be revealed, riders can expect electrifying performance with an abundance of torque.

It is at the technological front where the Flying FleaFF.S6 shines the brightest. Beneath its modern retro exterior, the FF.S6 harbours an in-house built UI system which runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon QWM2290 processor, providing seamless 4G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
This smart interface is integrated into a round digital touchscreen gauge cluster that cleverly combines classic round dial aesthetics with current-generation touchscreen functionality, enabling riders to get access to integrated navigation, media access, voice commands, Ride modes, traction control, and real-time vehicle diagnostics powered by an advanced Vehicle Control Unit. Royal Enfield also offers over-the-air updates to maintain the advanced UI system.
The bike is slated for a global release towards the end of 2026. The FF.S6 will be manufactured in Royal Enfield’s Vallam Vadagal facility in Tamil Nadu, India, supported by engineering teams in both India and the UK.
