Rolls-Royce Celebrates Bespoke Brilliance at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Rolls-Royce’s presence at the Goodwood Festival of Speed is a testament to the marque.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars take centre stage at the Goodwood Festival of Speed with a stunning display of Bespoke craftsmanship. Each vehicle on exhibit embodies the marque’s dedication to unparalleled luxury and personalization.

Cullinan: Evolving Super-Luxury SUV

First launched in 2018, Cullinan redefined super-luxury motoring. It allows discerning clients to experience Rolls-Royce’s legendary “magic carpet ride” on any terrain, anywhere in the world. This year’s Festival of Speed marks the UK debut of Cullinan Series II, showcasing the evolution of this remarkable vehicle.

Verticality reigns supreme in the design of Cullinan Series II, reflecting the soaring skyscrapers of megacities – its natural habitat. This is evident in the new daytime running light graphics, ensuring the car’s presence is unmistakable.

For the first time ever on a series car, Rolls-Royce introduces Placed Perforation on Cullinan Series II. This exquisite technique involves creating intricate artwork through tiny leather perforations. The design for Cullinan Series II draws inspiration from the ever-changing shapes and shadows of clouds above the Home of Rolls-Royce.

Another novel feature is Duality Twill, a new rayon fabric made from bamboo. This exemplifies Rolls-Royce’s continuous exploration of innovative textiles.

A contemporary expression of Cullinan finished in a sophisticated “Emperador Truffle” hue will be on display. Inspired by richly-veined brown marble, this unique paint complements the Arctic White Coachline and the elegant Cashmere Grey and Chartreuse leather interior, featuring the intricate Placed Perforation.

Spectre: A Dawn of Electric Bespoke

2023 marked a momentous year for Rolls-Royce. It not only celebrated 20 years of production at Goodwood but also commenced deliveries of Spectre, the brand’s first fully electric motor car. Since then, Spectre has embarked on a remarkable Bespoke journey.

This year’s Festival of Speed witnessed a captivating two-tone Peony Pearl and Black Diamond expression of Spectre. The vibrant exterior with 23-inch wheels exudes modern luxury and symbolizes a new era for Rolls-Royce.

The interior is a celestial haven, featuring a Starlight Headliner, Starlight Doors embellished with 4,796 “stars,” and a tone-on-tone starlight pattern on the rear waterfall seat. A special clock vitrine with shooting “stars” adds a touch of magic.

As a subtle tribute to the 120th anniversary of the meeting between Charles Rolls and Henry Royce, each Bespoke Phantom, Ghost, and Spectre features a painted “sound wave” design on the centre console lid. Each wave embodies an inspirational quote from the founders, reflecting the brand’s enduring vision.

Complementing the Peony Pearl Spectre is a bespoke Escapism Luggage Collection, crafted from top-quality leather and durable canvas, ideal for those seeking enriching experiences.

Adding to the spectacle, Spectre will not only be on display but will also take on the Goodwood Hillclimb during the Festival’s Supercar Run.

Phantom: Epitome of Bespoke Luxury

An icon of legendary status, Phantom Extended defines the pinnacle of luxury. Offering a serene and spacious haven, it caters to tastemakers seeking a sanctuary to recharge before conquering the world. This year’s Festival of Speed showcases a modern interpretation of this masterpiece, finished in a striking two-tone Diba Teal and Black Diamond with a Black Coachline.

The inspiration for this design stems from the French Riviera, a location synonymous with glamour and breathtaking scenery. Notably, Sir Henry Royce built a residence there, further solidifying the connection between Rolls-Royce and the region.

One of Phantom’s defining features is the Gallery, a unique space where clients can showcase their artistic spirit. This year’s Bespoke commission boasts a beautiful monochrome leather Gallery adorned with an embroidered wave pattern (47,319 stitches) – a subtle nod to the French Riviera, echoed throughout the car on the door cards and picnic tables.

The exquisite craftsmanship extends to the Kinetic Luggage Collection, meticulously designed and crafted in Black leather with Arctic White panelling and Diba Teal stitching to perfectly complement the luxurious Phantom.

Ghost: A Canvas for Bespoke Creativity

Ghost embodies a minimalist design philosophy, providing the perfect canvas for Bespoke commissions. This allows clients to unleash their creative vision and tailor the car to their exact tastes.

The Festival of Speed sees a timeless and sophisticated expression of Ghost, presented in Blue Crystal over Black. A Charles Blue Coachline elegantly complements the exterior, showcasing the capabilities of the marque’s Exterior Surface Centre.

Beautifully crafted leather Key Wraps have also been designed and created for the Ghost, Phantom, and Spectre, adding a final touch of Bespoke brilliance.

In conclusion, Rolls-Royce’s presence at the Goodwood Festival of Speed is a testament to the marque.
