Midual Française is a single-seat ultra luxury cafe racer motorcycle built by Midual, a French high-end boutique motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1997 by French brothers Olivier Midy and François Midy. Based on Midual’s Type 1 Series 3, limited to just five handcrafted units at €340,000 each in France.

This exquisite cafe racer features a hand-polished aluminium monocoque frame, minimalist bodywork accustomed to neo-retro designs, a round LED headlight, aero winglets, an analogue dash, and sculpted exhausts. The bodywork features a clean raw metal finish without the need for an external paintwork, except to highlight a few panels and brand insignias.
How exclusive is production?
Limited to 5 handcrafted production units worldwide, built by a team of 10 skilled artisans at Midual’s workshop in Juigné-sur-Loire, near Angers, France.
These 10 artisans invest hundreds of hours per bike on processes like polishing the aluminium monocoque frame and hand assembling the custom boxer engine, ensuring each of the 5 units is a bespoke masterpiece befitting of a €340,000 price tag.
What Powers this sumptuous bike?
Powering the exquisite French Cafe racer is Midual’s signature longitudinal flat-twin boxer engine, it’s a 1,036cc liquid-cooled unit producing106 hp at 8,200 rpm and 102 Nm torque at 5,500 rpm.
Is it worth the price?
At a price tag of €340,000, it is hard to justify its existence; However, Midual never aimed at justifying its exclusivity to the masses.
