G-Power tunes the F92 gen BMW M8 Coupe to produce 820hp & 1,000Nm!

G-Power has rolled out yet another statement piece, unveiling the G8M Bi-Turbo, a heavily reengineered interpretation of the F92 BMW M8 Coupé. With more than four decades of experience refining and amplifying the DNA of BMW M cars, the German tuning powerhouse has once again delivered a machine with outrageous performance gains.

The result is a coupé that looks ferocious, sounds volcanic, and accelerates with the kind of authority that could make hypercars nervous.

The 820 HP Sledgehammer

At the heart of this monstrous creation lies a wholly reimagined version of BMW’s 4.4-litre S63 twin-turbocharged V8. The factory M8’s already serious 600hp output has been pushed into supercar territory, with the G-Power variation producing an explosive 820hp and a colossal 1,000Nm of torque.

This represents a 220hp increase over stock and propels the G8M into a performance league that few grand tourers have ever occupied. What makes this upgrade even more impressive is G-Power’s commitment to preserving full OEM engine protection systems, diagnostic functions, and factory safeguards, ensuring that the surge in performance never compromises reliability.

The leap in power is achieved through a coordinated overhaul of both software and hardware. G-Power’s proprietary GP-820 performance software plays a critical role, refining throttle response, torque distribution, and turbo behaviour across the rev range. 

In addition to delivering more power, the software enhances engine efficiency, sharpens power delivery, and even improves fuel consumption under partial loads. This software foundation is complemented by a suite of hardware upgrades headlined by the GP-900 turbocharger kit. 

The factory turbochargers have been replaced by units featuring a significantly larger compressor and turbine wheels housed in redesigned casings that allow for greater airflow and elevated boost pressure. Precision-engineered tolerances ensure that the turbochargers remain highly efficient, even at extreme operating levels.

Supporting these new turbos is a bespoke high-performance intercooler engineered specifically for the G8M’s requirements. The exhaust system has been given just as much attention, with the GP-DEEPTONE stainless-steel system channelling gases through flow-optimised sport downpipes and 200-cell metal catalytic converters. Beyond the deeper, richer sound signature, this combination reduces exhaust backpressure and lowers exhaust gas temperatures, enabling faster turbo spool and more responsive acceleration.

Design & Styling: Functional Carbon Everywhere

Visually, the G8M Bi-Turbo is unmistakable. The car’s deep green wrap gives it a commanding presence even at idle, especially when paired with G-Power’s signature Frozen Gold HURRICANE RR forged wheels. The lightweight double-spoke wheels measure 21 inches at all four corners.

The carbon fibre upgrades go far beyond aesthetics. The GP-VENTURI RR carbon bonnet is a highly functional piece of engineering, featuring Dynamic Venting Technology that incorporates Venturi nozzles to channel hot air out of the engine bay. This drastically improves under-hood thermal performance, a necessity given the car’s increased boost pressure and raised thermal load. 

At the rear, the GP-DYNAMIC Wing RR adds both visual drama and aerodynamic balance. The lightweight carbon spoiler enhances high-speed downforce, improving straight-line stability and providing greater confidence during aggressive cornering or high-speed autobahn runs.
